Reuters announced today that Alok Sharma, president of the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), will present the opening speech at the Reuters IMPACT summit on October 4, which brings together world leaders, scientists, CEOs and forward-thinking pioneers to inspire, drive action and accelerate innovation on climate change. With COP26 planned for early November, Sharma will join the Reuters IMPACT stage to share global climate challenges and set the agenda for economically viable solutions.
Reuters IMPACT will reveal how business, cities and key urban stakeholders are collaborating to transform their impact on our built environment and transportation, harness new innovation and investment opportunities, and lead a recovery that delivers clean, circular, self-sufficient and inclusive cities.
