Reuters today announced the launch of two curated newsletters, “Reuters Arabic Briefing" and “Gulf Currents,” created to bring trusted insights to professionals in the Middle East. These must-read weekly additions give subscribers a timely snapshot of news and analysis curated by one of the world's largest and most trusted news organizations.

“Reuters Arabic Briefing” offers Arabic-speaking audiences a daily roundup of trusted, non-national coverage across breaking news, politics, business, finance, technology and more.  The newsletter is helmed by Reuters Arabic Desk Editor Muhammad Yamany, a seasoned journalist and editor with more than two decades of experience. Subscribe to Reuters Arabic Briefing for a curated collection of essential Arabic-language stories.

“Gulf Currents” provides a comprehensive roundup of geopolitics, energy and finance news from around the Gulf. Published every Thursday, the newsletter is led by Reuters Deputy Gulf Bureau Chief Andrew Mills and a dedicated team of industry news correspondents. Subscribe to Gulf Currents for insights behind the biggest headlines in the Gulf.

These launches mark the latest milestone in Reuters Middle East expansion, following the successful launch of digital subscriptions in the region, a new Arabic website and the inaugural Reuters NEXT Gulf in October 2025, which brought together more than 600 global leaders from business, government, NGOs, civil society, media, culture and academia to examine the challenges defining business, society and the world.

These moves underscore Reuters ongoing commitment to providing professionals in the Gulf region and the broader Middle East with the crucial news and insights needed to navigate the world and business, leveraging its extensive network of more than 2600 journalists in 200 locations around the world.
