Reuters, the world’s largest multimedia news provider, announced today that more than 100 million stock images are now available to customers on Reuters Connect. Reuters has partnered with stock photography agency Alamy to deliver customers creative use content to meet all of their stock imagery requirements, now seamlessly available on the same platform that provides content from Reuters and its more than 90 other content partners.
Reuters Connect users can access stock imagery via the Stock section and purchase images as part of their Reuters Points subscription. With more than 35 million pieces of content previously available on Reuters Connect, the addition of 100 million stock images means customers will now have access to one of the largest news and image libraries, meeting all their content needs in one place.
“Reuters Connect is the definitive destination for multi-media content. With this new offering, we’re able to super-serve our News Agency customers and ensure they don’t have to go anywhere else to find the content they need. Reuters Connect brings speed, flexibility and now scale – saving our customers time and money,” said Sue Brooks, Head of Product Development & Agency Strategy, Reuters.
With Alamy photographers in every country in the world, Reuters customers will have access to broad and deep local stock imagery, as well as content across categories including travel, lifestyle, office, climate change, science, food and more.
