Reuters photojournalist Hannah McKay wins BPPA's Press Photographer of the Year

Reuters photojournalist Hannah McKay was last week named the British Press Photographers' Association's (BPPA) Press Photographer of the Year. The BPPA Awards recognize British photojournalists across ten categories, with each winner considered for the overall Press Photographer of the Year prize. McKay also won in the News category, for her portfolio of work that included the Queen's Jubilee, last summer's heat wave across Europe and political leaders in the UK.

Reuters photojournalist Molly Darlington also received a Highly Commended recognition in the Young Photographer category.
