Reuters appoints two senior News Agency commercial leaders

Reuters Global Head of Revenue Eric Danetz in a note to staff announced two leadership appointments on the Reuters News Agency commercial team. Yasmin Ramirez has been named Director, Agency Sales, Americas, and Josef Najm has been named Director, Partnerships and Programmatic. 

Ramirez joined Reuters in 2009, working in Mexico City, then San Francisco and New York. In her new role, she will lead the Americas Agency team, with a focus on enhancing customer relationships while driving new and incremental revenue opportunities. 

"I'm excited to appoint Yasmin to this leadership role and know she will make an immediate impact on the continued success of the Americas Agency organization," Danetz wrote. 

Najm joined Reuters nearly four years ago after experience with major brands including L'Oreal and Diageo, in addition to MediaMath. In his expanded role, he will lead Reuters teams focused on strategic digital partnerships, in addition to programmatic growth initiatives. He will focus on supporting the team to create valuable strategic alliances while fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation to maintain Reuters revenue growth initiatives. 

Danetz wrote, "Josef's strategic vision and unyielding commitment to team collaboration has fueled notable growth."
