Reuters Events today announced the launch of the Reuters IMPACT Climate Council. The council brings together influential executives, leaders, and changemakers and seeks to start a conversation about the climate challenge facing our planet and what actions are needed to address it.
The Reuters IMPACT Climate Council will help to shape the Reuters IMPACT agenda throughout the year, as well as generate data-driven insight for the Reuters IMPACT community and the Reuters Events annual climate report.
The world is at a critical juncture, facing an unprecedented climate emergency. But a flood of misinformation, mistrust and noise about who is taking action and who isn't has contributed to a disconnect between governments, big business and society. This has made it harder than ever to find a trusted platform to drive real change.
