Sodiq Adelakun, Photojournalist – Nigeria

“The Reuters News Accelerator Program has had a profoundly positive impact on my life and career. In an industry where change is constant and often overwhelming, RNAP brought clarity, calm, and much-needed direction. Through the program, I found not just a new job, but a professional home - a family of like-minded individuals where strong values and professionalism are deeply respected. I remember vividly moments during the training when much of what I was learning felt unfamiliar and difficult to relate to. A year later, I now understand how essential that foundation was. This program is shaping the leaders we need for our future newsroom."
